DISTRIBUTECH International is giving attendees an up-close look at the largest floating solar project in the Southeast with a Tech Tour visit to Orange County, Florida’s Southern Regional Water Supply Facility.

Developed by D3Energy for Orange County Utilities, the 1.2 MW project is located on a retention pond and provides power directly to the water treatment facility.

This tour will include a close-up view of the floating array where attendees will learn the benefits and advantages of floating solar and how it benefits the facility and the community. The tour takes place on Monday, February 26 from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration is required.
